Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy explains what information Free The Vibe ("we", "us") collects across freethevibe.com and its subdomains (the "Sites"), including the Nightwave, FTVGames and Free The Vibe Records sites, blogs and forums, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Forum accounts. When you sign in with Discord, Google or Steam we receive an account identifier, your public display name and avatar from that provider. We don't receive your password. With Google we request only basic profile information, not your email address. You choose a forum display name; your posts, reactions and profile are public.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address, which site you signed up on, and the date.
- Contact, demo and booking forms. We store what you submit (name, email, message, links you share) so we can reply. These submissions are also emailed to our team inbox.
- Security and abuse prevention. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots, and we store a one-way hash of your IP address with form submissions to rate-limit spam.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first: it uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie when you sign in to the forums (to keep you signed in) and short-lived cookies during sign-in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Embedded content
Some pages embed content from Spotify, YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) and Steam. Those services may collect data according to their own privacy policies when you interact with them.
How we use information
- To run the forums and show your posts and profile.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To reply to your messages and review demo submissions.
- To keep the Sites secure and free of spam.
We don't sell your personal information.
Where it's stored
The Sites run on Cloudflare's network, and data is stored in Cloudflare D1 databases. Emails are delivered to our inbox via Cloudflare Email Routing and Gmail.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your data, including your forum account, by emailing support@freethevibe.com.
Children
The forums are not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date above when we do.
